Thanksgiving Point--Tulip Festival

Yesterday was the last day of the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point. I've been waiting to go, hoping that Nick could come with us, but he's been working 6 days/week for the last 2 months. I decided to take the kids myself. We had so much fun! It was perfect weather (for us) 48 degrees, overcast. Loved it!
The kids at the entrance

View of the gardens from the top

bottom of the BIG hill...the kids loved rolling down it.
They are about half way up the hill... can you see them?

These Koi fish were SO hungry! We got to buy some food from a vending machine and feed them. They were literally climbing over each other to get to the food.

The amphitheater--so beautiful! And again, another hill for the kids to roll down.

Can you see the owl? It made it's nest behind the waterfall on the cliffs. So pretty!

This is cool---these holes are right behind the waterfall and the kids can put their arms in and feel the water coming down.

Then we went to the children's discovery area...
The climbing area

The building area

The digging area

Music and motion area

At the end of our visit---the kids are rolling down the hill again...
can you see them?

See....?

That stuff in the Children's Discovery area looks new.

Love the pictures. Makes me miss the Gardens.
