After breakfast we all got ready and went to a nearby park/lake. They had put a bunch of cat fish in it the night before AND it was Utah's free fishing day-no license needed-so we went fishing and played and had lunch.
When we got there, Preston was asleep-here I am trying to keep his head covered while he slept.
My grandma Ballard and Bro-in-law Todd.....
The day was so clear and the lake so beautiful, so I decided to take a picture of what I could with Ash in the picture. It was a perfect day!
Patrick and Avery riding on Todd's scooter...Weeee!
My brother Ryan arranged for a man from his ward (far left) to come and cater our lunch--he does Dutch Oven cooking as a side businees. This food was absolutely awesome!!!!
While we were all trying to eat, Preston found the hoop and practically had to be dragged away so I could try to get some food in him! Notice he's not even using a basketball? ha ha--he used anything he could find!
Preston and his cousin Tage. Isn't this cute? There is a little stream there that goes in to the lake and there were birds all around-the two just stood there and watched it all for a few minutes!
Towards the end of our day out these two girls came by dressed like princesses. They were going all around the park getting pictures taken with who ever wanted. I don't remember what the reason was they said why they were there. Oh, Ashleigh and Bridget had already gone back to the house, so they missed out on seeing the princesses, oh-well.
Have you ever played this game before? I don't remember what it's called, but it was really fun-throw those ball/rope things from a distance and try to get it to go around one of the bars-you have 3 chances to get as many points as possible. Preston and Tage took it over in the middle of a game....
