The happenings lately

We have settled in to our house/neighborhood/town nicely and it's like we never left! We absolutely love it here and are SO glad to be back!

Nick has been working hard--overtime occasionally too--and has been taking such great care of our family...making sure we have everything we need and making sure we are all happy. He's a wonderful man!!!

I have been looking pretty much daily for a job. I've had 3 interviews so far...1 didn't pan out, the 2nd has been putting me off for 2+ weeks (they are trying to get things worked out with HR), but it's been "I wont' know anything until Monday" or "I'm flying out to meet with HR and I'll be back on Thursday, I"ll let you know then" or "I haven't heard anything back from HR yet, Give me a call in a few days", etc...it's SO frustrating!!! I've finally given up..if they want me, they will call me! My 3rd interview was today. The owner is in Hawaii. I should hear back by the end of the week for a 2nd interview (if I'm selected) and then I'll meet with the owner who has the final say sometime next week. Ugh...more waiting!!! I HATE waiting!!! So, I'm going to keep looking and hope someone out there is looking to hire "today" and I won't have to wait much longer!!!

The kids are good...Ash and Preston made friends with some neighbor kids--Hannah and Seth. They are sweet kids with loads of manners and the kids all get along really well which is so nice!!! But, they are the only friends in our little neighborhood, so if they can't play then A n P have to find other things to fill their time. Thankfully--A n P get along really well and they play together all the time and they have the greatest imaginations! I love hearing them talk and play together.
