Last night I decided to show them just how easy it is to save money...
I had my list written up from moneysavingmom.com of all the things that are on sale and that I have coupons for so I felt really prepared.
I bought: 6 bottles of Visine, 3 Nivea lip balm, 3 Quaker Rice Cakes, 10 packages of Schick Disposable razors (12 in each package), 2 Yo-plus 4-pack of yogurt, 6 bags of Ludens cough drops, 4 Suave hand lotions, 2 Kashi soft cereal bars, 2 Viva single paper towel rolls, and 1 Sani-hands kids wipes. (39 items)
My total was $68.78
I swiped my wal-mart discount card (10% off)
Then gave the cashier all my coupons...oh man, there were a LOT!!!
I had a coupon for EACH item I bought!
My final total...what I paid out of pocket was
$8.86
87% savings!
It was literally awesome hearing the audible gasp from my 5 co-workers who were all standing around watching the whole transaction taking place. I now have 3 people from work who are interested in signing up to take a class on how to do couponing. (Juli...we need to talk about this!)Then gave the cashier all my coupons...oh man, there were a LOT!!!

(Anyone in my family needing razors or cough drops?)
Ahhh....sweet satisfaction

Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap!!!!! That is me appluading you... Yes, we need to talk, but hey Quinn is learning and I think she will be even more militant than the rest of us about it. We could for sure teach some classes. I sure love you...
